The Eagles football team of Montgomery County High School fell to 2-2 after a loss to Telfair County last Friday night in McRae. The Trojans of Telfair jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter of the game. The Eagles, though, got the offense going as they put 23 points on the board in the second quarter, but the Trojans added 13 more. That put Telfair on top 27-23 heading to halftime. In the third quarter the Trojans pulled away with three more touchdowns to take a 48-23 lead over the Eagles heading to the fourth quarter. Neither team scored in the fourth as the Eagles dropped the game to Telfair.
