Brewton-Parker College Runs At GMC

The Brewton-Parker College men’s cross country team competed on Friday evening at the 4th Annual GMC Brickyard Invitational in Milledgeville, Ga. The Barons finished fourth in the 8K race with a total time of 2:30.34 for 87 team points. DeMario Thomas led the Barons with a time of 29:26.9 for 14th followed by Briley Reyes in 15th with a time of 29:27.4. Jacob Hackenberry finished in 18th, crossing the line with a time of 30:17.8 with DJ Christensen following behind in 19th with a time of 30:36.3.

Jordan Hackett completed the race in 30:36.8 for 21st with Hunter Milhollin finishing 24th with a time of 31:13.8. Frankie Williams finished 30th with a time of 32:26.8 to mark the final Baron earning team points. Chris Smith finished 31st, with Eric Smith and Teddy Ortiz finishing 37th and 44th, respectively.

The Barons are slated to run in the Julius Johnson Invitational this Friday in Macon, Ga.
