Toombs came back with four in the top of the second inning to jump on top 5-3. Metter plated one run in the bottom of the second to close it to 5-4, but TCHS added one in the third for a 6-4 lead.

Toombs scored two more in the top of the fourth inning to make it 8-4, but Metter added four in the bottom half to tie the game at 8-8. The game was then called and went down as a tie.
