United Way Golfs In Metter

The 2022 Toombs-Montgomery- Wheeler Counties 28th Annual United Way Golf Tournament was held Thursday, June 3, at Willow Lake Golf Club in Metter. Eighteen teams competed and helped raise money for the United Way.

First Place Gross was the Georgia Power Team with a round of 52. First place net went to the Michael Dean Team with a score of 50.2. Andy Woodruff 's team was second with a 52.0, and the Red Stag team was third with a 54.2. Tournament Director Dennis Donahue said, 'I want to thank all of the sponsors, volunteers and players who made this all possible. It was a great day, the tournament was a big success and we raised a lot of money for the United Way.'
