Heritage Over Covenant Academy

The Vidalia Heritage Academy Eagles baseball team opened their season on Saturday against Covenant Academy at home. VHA got off to a fast start and rolled to a big win. Heritage had put five runs on the board in the first couple of innings, and then in the bottom of the third, they added a run on a wild pitch, and then Ledger Curl hit a bomb over the left-center field fence for a three-run homerun to give the Eagles a 9-0 lead.

VHA took the win over Covenant 10-0 to kick off the season. VHA will be in Macon on Friday of this week at 5:00

p.m. for a rematch with Covenant.
