Vidalia Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution welcomed your Staff Writer Makaylee Randolph to our November meeting last Wednesday. It was a pleasure to read her article on Fred Godbee in this week’s Advance. We were so pleased that Fred could come speak to us especially since it is the month we honor our veterans. Now it is even better to have his thoughts in print plus the extra information about his sons who are following his example of giving service through the military path. The pictures added much to the interest of the article.
