Glenwood Man Charged With Trafficking Drugs

A Glenwood man has been charged in a drug trafficking bust, and others may be charged in the open investigation.

The Wheeler County Sheriff’s Office and the Oconee Drug Task Force arrested Shane Richardson on May 16 and charged him with trafficking methamphetamine and heroin, sale of methamphetamine, and possession of a firearm in the commission of a crime. Law enforcers seized a large amount of methamphetamine and heroin during the arrest.
