Both the girls and boys Vidalia High School soccer teams split their games last week against Bacon County and East Laurens.

Girls vs. Bacon

The Lady Indians had a solid performance against the Lady Raiders of Bacon County at home last Tuesday. The Lady Indians picked up the Region win over Bacon by the score of 3-0.

Boys vs. Bacon

The boys dropped their game to the Raiders. Bacon scored two goals in the first half of the game with VHS picking up just one from Konner Owens.

Bacon added two more goals in the second half while keeping the Indians out of the net. That gave the Raiders the win, 4-1.

Girls vs. E. Laurens

It was a close game between the Lady Indians and the Lady Falcons of East Laurens on Thursday at East Laurens. The Lady Indians could not get a goal across, but East Laurens picked up just one goal, but it was enough to get the win, 1-0.

Boys vs. E. Laurens

The VHS boys took care of business over the Falcons. VHS jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first half of the game with Clayton Cox scoring twice and Daniel Hodges finding the back of the net once. The Indians did a good job in the second half as they held the Falcons to just one goal to get the 3-1 Region win. The Indians will be off this week for spring break, but will be back in action next week on Tuesday on the road at Coffee County at 5:00 p.m.
