The Toombs-Montgomery Youth Leadership class recently met for their first session and learned about agriculture and how it impacts our local economy. Other sessions that the students will attend include economic development, healthcare and community service, professional development, and putting your best foot forward with etiquette training. The Youth Leadership program is compiled of students from Montgomery County High School, Vidalia Heritage Academy, Vidalia High School, Robert Toombs Christian Academy, and Toombs County High School, as well as local home school students. Selected students are Merle MacGregor, Lazaria Williams, Kierston Coleman, Tabatha Bailey, Rob Moore, Carleigh DeFee, Ellie Graham, Caleb Worth, James Poppell, Kenna Marsh, Jordan Powell, Jacob Thompson, Torie Lane, Caleb Proenza, Benajmin Beverly, Jackson Crawley, Ella Brown, Landry Mead, Bess Wilcox, Tucker Coleman, Cheyenne Anderson, Brynna Wheeler, and Konner Owens. The program is chaired by Marissa Brown, and Derek and Janna Park.
