TCMS Are Region Champs

The Toombs County Middle School football team are the Southeast Georgia Middle School Association Champions. They took on and defeated Emanuel County Institute last Thursday night in The Pit. It capped off an undefeated season for the Bullpups.

Toombs was up just 7-0 at the end of the first half but scored two big touchdowns in the second half, including an interception returned for a score by Cameron Davis.

ECI closed it to a 21-12 game, but TCMS came up with a fumble recovery late to seal the win, 21- 12.
