Signups At Partin Park

The Lyons Recreation Department is holding football and cheerleading signups through August 28. Signups online are being encouraged at lyonsga.recreationdepartment. aspx, but are also being held at the office at Partin Park. The fee is $45 per participant, but they are not requiring payment at the time of registration, but it is due by September 8. Age control date is September 1, 2020. There will be three age divisions, 5-6, 7-8, and 9-11-year-olds. That is the same for both football and cheerleading. Any 11-yearold must still be in the fifth grade. Equipment pickup will be at a later date at the Lyons City Gym, and teams will be notified when their time is. Practice and game date will be in the parents packet. Coaches meeting for all volunteers will be held on Monday, August 31, at 5:30 p.m. for 5-6-year-olds, 6:30 for 7-8, and 7:30 for 9-11, with all meetings at the Dream House at Partin Park.

Soccer

Soccer registration is also being held through August 28. There will be five age divisions, U6, U8, U10, U12, and U15. The fee is $45 per participant. Coaches meeting will be Tuesday, September 1, at 6:00 p.m. in he Dream House.
