Mr. Danny Turner

Mr. Danny Tilman “Pinetree” Turner, age 59, of Glenwood, died on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at his home, after a sudden illness.

Mr. Turner was a lifelong resident of Glenwood, Pentecostal by faith, and drove a log truck for over 30 years for various companies, including Danny Clark and Bridges Logging. He was preceded in death by his parents, R.T. and Sandra Turner; and his sister, Cathy Turner.

He is survived by his children, Tyler Turner of Uvalda, Jonathan Turner and wife Johnna of Chauncey, Cole Moore of Hazlehurst, and Lizzie Moore of Mississippi; girlfriend, Michelle Moore of Scotland; brother, Robert Turner of Scotland; former wife, Victoria Turner of Uvalda; and 7 grandchildren.

A private service will be held at a later date.
