Bulldogs Stumble Against SE Bulloch

The Toombs County High School Bulldogs soccer teams faced a tough road test on Friday, dropping a pair of hard-fought matches to the Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets. Both squads came up short, but they have a quick turnaround with two crucial matchups slated for this week.

Girls vs. SE Bulloch

In the girls' matchup, the Lady Bulldogs battled to the final whistle but ultimately fell to Southeast Bulloch by a narrow margin of 3-2.

Boys vs. SE Bulloch

The boys' contest featured a strong effort, but the Yellow Jackets managed to break through with one goal in the opening half. Southeast Bulloch then added an insurance goal in the second half to secure a 2-0 victory over Toombs.

The Bulldogs are eager to bounce back and will return to their home turf this Wednesday to host Tattnall County, with kickoff set for 5:00 p.m. Following that home match, the teams will hit the road again on Friday for a highly anticipated clash against their local rivals in Vidalia, also starting at 5:00 p.m.
