TCREA FEBRUARY MEETING — Toombs County Retired Educators Association speakers this month were Johnny Smith, Georgia Retired Educators Association Director from Atlanta, who discussed the latest legislation in our state government concerning Georgia's retired educators; Dr. Sandy Reid, Superintendent of Vidalia City Schools, who discussed her background in education and the importance of building relationships with students; and Barry Waller, Superintendent of Toombs County Schools, who discussed the benefits of the Heavy Equipment and Construction programs in his high school. BREAKING GROUND – The Southeastern Early College and Career Academy (SECCA) officially broke ground on their new $1.3 million expansion during a formal ceremony on Monday, May 11.
