Kiwanis Names BUG Celebration Students

Each semester, the Kiwanis Club of Vidalia provides selected students from Sally D. Meadows Elementary School with lunch from Chick-fil-A, a visit with the famous Chick-fil-A Cow, and extra time on the playground as a part of the Club’s Bringing Up Grades (BUG) Celebration. These students were most recently recognized during the Celebration on Friday, January 16.
Each semester, teachers and administrators select one student from their classes that have shown exemplary behavior or have improved their grades throughout the semester to take part in the fun. The students selected by their teachers were as follows: 2nd Grade: Brody Villegas, Ava Wardlaw, Gabriella McLeod, Janiyah Jackson, Mikee Brown, Kaden Tindal, Bryson Hunt, Xzavier McNeal.
3rd Grade: Jeremiah Hill, Jordan Jackson, Hilton Kight, Danayelah Atkins, Kamryn Bonner, Kace Okletree, Alayna Cathcart.
4th Grade: Hunter Allen, Skylar Zabski, Hope Rivers, Maylee Faulk, Ja’Tavin Jones, Denzel Roundtree, Emerson Braddy.
5th Grade: Kha’liyah Outlaw, Bryson Henry, Makaiya Harden, Bella McCoy, Jackie Martinez, Jeremiah Payne, Semaj Jackson Selected Resource Class Students: Jacob Tolbert, Kee’an Sanford, Kingston Quest, Cereinty Hamilton Students Selected by Administrators: HK Jones, Adley Hall, Rhett Adams.
The Kiwanis Club of Vidalia will honor more students later in the semester during their spring BUG Celebration.
