VPD Investigates Vehicle Break-In

The Vidalia Police Department is investigating the break-in of a vehicle parked at Second Street, as several handbags and pairs of shoes were stolen.
Haskell “TopCat” Sharpe is known around the community for his stylish designer bags, shoes, jerseys, and more, which he often sells out of his white van. Over the past few weeks, Sharpe has not been able to sell these products, as his van has been broken down and unable to drive.
Over the weekend, Sharpe went to his van to retrieve a handbag for a friend, when he discovered that the lock on the vehicle had been destroyed, and the majority of his merchandise was stolen. Sharpe is unsure when the theft occurred, as he has not been actively checking on the van each day because of not being able to travel and sell these products.
