Jernigan Crowned Miss Elementary America Kindergarten

At just 5 years old, Henley Jernigan is already proving that kindness can make a big impact. The energetic Vidalia native recently captured the title of Miss Elementary America Kindergarten 2026, earning not only a prestigious crown but also a $5,000 scholarship, a cruise, and an impressive prize package.

In June, Henley traveled to Little Rock, Arkansas, and competed in Evening Gown, Fun Fashion, and a private interview with the judges under the title of Miss Georgia Elementary Kindergarten, with dreams and hopes of earning the national title of Miss Elementary America Kindergarten. Little did she know that her sweet, southern charm would capture the hearts of the judges; and she would be crowned the national titleholder.

As Henley prepares to begin kindergarten this fall, she is already making a name for herself far beyond the pageant stage through her inspiring platform, Henley's Kindness Club.

Henley's mission is simple but powerful: to help others find friendship in the most unexpected places. Through her project, she paints and hides colorful rocks throughout the United States, encouraging those who discover them to remember that even the simplest act of kindness can brighten someone's day.

The daughter of Kayla and Brett Jernigan, Henley also looks up to her big brother, Isaac, who cheers her on in all of her adventures.

When she isn't representing her title or sharing her kindness campaign, Henley stays busy with a variety of activities. She is a member of the competition dance team at Sassy Sisters Dance Studio, cheers with Southern Elite Athletics, and loves spending time outdoors playing with family and friends.

Although she is only 5 years old, Henley is already demonstrating the qualities of a true role model. Her national pageant victory recognizes not only her confidence and poise but also her commitment to encouraging kindness, friendship, and compassion in everyday life.

With kindergarten just around the corner and a national title to her name, Henley Jernigan is beginning an exciting new chapter. Her journey is only getting started—and the communities touched by Henley's Kindness Club are sure to continue growing, one painted rock at a time.
