Library Summer Program Has Largest Turnout Yet

The Dr. Mark and Tonya Spivey Public Library and Nelle Brown Memorial Library Summer Programming recently set a new record for their largest attended program, as 775 community members came to see the Wild Wonders Animal Show.
Each Wednesday, the libraries host special summer programs at Southeastern Technical College, where kids, families, and community members can come to learn more about animals, see mystifying magic tricks, and more. Last Wednesday, June 10, the Wild Wonders Animal Show took to the stage to teach attendees about numerous animals and reptiles, including lizards, turtles, snakes, and more.
This Wednesday, June 17, Chad Crews will entertain audiences at 11 a.m. at Southeastern Technical College with his mystifying tricks, while the Magic Man Bill Packard will take the stage at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 24.
