Wheeler County Library Hosting Fun Events All Month

The Wheeler County Library has officially announced their summer schedule, which is packed with fun and educational events for patrons of all ages.
The Middle Georgia Gem and Mineral Society will be at the library at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 5, as they share about information about and showcase rocks, gems, fossils, and even meteorites!
On Monday, June 8, Ranger Jodi will teach patrons about animals and give them an up-close look at her live creature companions at 10:30 a.m., while adults may come learn about Building Brain Health at 1 p.m.
Chad Crews will simultaneously mystify and educate his audience at the library at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 11.
The Untamed Zoo will make a stop in Alamo at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, as they bring several of their animals to visit patrons. The library will be closed on Friday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth.
Mare Griffiths will perform a ventriloquist show for patrons to enjoy at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24.
The Georgia Agriculture Mobile Classroom will make a stop at the library at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 30.
The Wheeler County Library, located at 61 W. Main Street in Alamo is open from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Monday, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Tuesday through Thursday, and from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Friday. For more information, call (912) 568-7321.
