The defeat dropped Vidalia into the losers' bracket for an elimination game against Appling County. Unfazed by the setback, VRD immediately took control of the game. They exploded for seven runs in the top of the first inning and tacked on two more in the second to establish a quick 9-0 lead. From there, the Vidalia defense took over, executing their assignments and shutting down the Appling County lineup for the remainder of the game to secure the 9-0 shutout and punch their ticket to the finals. vs. Emanuel Co.

Championship In the Championship Game, Vidalia earned a rematch against Emanuel County. VRD struck first this time, getting on the board with a run in the top of the first inning. However, the early momentum was short-lived. Emanuel answered with two runs in the bottom half of the frame to take a 2-1 lead they would never relinquish. Emanuel steadily built on their advantage, adding a run in the second inning and two more in the fourth. Despite a resilient effort in the dugout, Vidalia could not close the gap, falling 5-1 and securing a well-earned second-place finish for the tournament.
