The Treutlen County Library will kick off their Summer Reading Program with a free petting zoo at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 4.

The event is free and open to the public, and will be held at an area adjacent to the library, which is located at 585 Second Street in Soperton. For more information, call (478) 246-7181.

Camp

Susanna Haynes Enterprises will host its annual faith-based Girls Summer Camp on June 12-13 at Southeastern Technical College in Vidalia. This camp is free for all girls, ages 10 through 21.

Magic Show

Magician Chad Crews will fill the crowd with wonder at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 11, at the Wheeler County Public Library, located at 61 Main Street in Alamo, as he performs as a part of the library’s Summer Reading Program.
