Girls

On the girls’ side, the Lady Dawgs finished 12th overall in the State Tournament field.

Leading Toombs County was Anzley Bryant, who posted a twoday total of 238, shooting 119 on both days. Jean Peterson followed with a 241, improving from a 124 on day one to a 117 on day two. Sarah Ellis Walker finished with a total score of 242, carding rounds of 119 and 123.

The State Tournament appearance capped off another successful season for both programs, highlighted by postseason appearances from both teams and a historic podium finish for the Bulldogs.
