The Vidalia Onion Festival will kick off on Tuesday, April 21, as the festival hosts the annual Local Entertainment and Movie Under the Stars at Ronnie A. Dixon City Park.
The night will kick off at 5 p.m., as vendors within the park begin to sell food. The local entertainment will start at 6 p.m., as Patricia’s Twirling Stars, J.D. Dickerson Pom-Pom Dancers, Love 2 Dance, and Sassy Sisters Dance Studio all take the stage.
At 8:15 p.m., the movie Stitch: The Movie will begin. Released in 2003, this G-rated film tells the story of an alien living on earth while disguised as a dog. This alien soon learns that his family of aliens that he never knew has come to earth and is now living within the same state while being hunted down by other galactic creatures. This daring tale brings a new light to the classic Lilo and Stitch film, and continues the story of one of Disney’s most beloved characters.
