Downtown Lyons Bustling With Free Events on Saturday

Downtown Lyons will be bustling with activity and laughter on Saturday, April 18, as both Lyons Main Street and Lyons Community Heart and Soul host free events at the 304 Society Garden, located at 111 N. Washington Street in Lyons.

Saturday’s fun activities will begin at 4 p.m., as the Lyons Community Heart and Soul group hosts their annual Spring Fling event. During this event, families and community members can come enjoy free games, arts and crafts activities, music, refreshments, and more, as the group works to unify the community. This event will celebrate the season until 6 p.m., when the Lyons Main Street Association’s Live in Lyons event kicks off.

At 6 p.m., Blaine Craft and the Flyin’ 90 will hit the stage, as the audience can enjoy a free outdoor concert. During the event, Country Crossroads Restaurant will be set up selling food and drinks in the Garden. Attendees of both events are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on.
