did manage a run in the top of the seventh inning, but Wheeler took the win, 12-9. vs. Claxton

It was all Bulldogs as they jumped on the Tigers with 11 runs in the first inning. RBI hits by Kolt Bell, Rhett Rodgers, and Walker Bridges put Wheeler out in front. That was followed by a three-run home run by Kyler Stinson and a solo homer by Hayes. Wheeler loaded the bases and a walk by Ian Scott, and then hits by Layton Horne and Drew Dixon put Wheeler on top 11-0.

Claxton scored two runs in the third inning with Wheeler also plating two runs. Wheeler scored four more in the fourth inning as they won the game, 17-2.

This week Wheeler takes on Seminole County in the first round of the State Playoffs. They played a double header on Tuesday after presstime in a best-of-three series. If necessary, game will be on Wednesday in Alamo.
