Mr. Lorainzy Telfair, age 67, died on March 18, 2024, at Memorial Health Meadows Hospital in Vidalia following an extended illness.

Mr. Telfair was a native of Montgomery County. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Vera Telfair.

Survivors include 1 daughter, Uquana Telfair, Jacksonville, FL; 1 stepson, Gary Mency (Telfair), Jacksonville, FL; 1 brother, Earl Telfair, Mt. Vernon; 4 sisters, Thedora (Larry) Wagner and Vickie Lue Telfair, both of Soperton, Tracy (Jackie) Robinson, Vidalia, and Katrina Telfair Gibbons, Columbus; 3 uncles, Wade Glasper, Lemuel Glasper, and Bobby Newkirk, all of Mt. Vernon; 3 grandchildren, Eldridge, Jr., Daijah, and Elijah, all of Jacksonville; 4 greatgrandchildren, Eldridge III, Elani, Adan, and Syncere, all of Jacksonville; and nieces and nephews, Roger, Travis, Trinity, Qwashawn, Timothy, Karmia, Grantasia, Tyziuna, Tristan, Jackie III, James, Tamorria, Travis, Jr., Alex, Yellanie, Eric, Derek, Miracle, Bryson, Yavera, and Nevaeh.
