On Thursday of last week, Wheeler County High School football player, Jeremiah Kincey, signed his letter of intent to play for the Tigers of Andrew College in Cuthbert, GA. Kincey was a standout defensive back and wide receiver for the Bulldogs and will take his talents to the next level.

Kincey said, “I went on a visit and it looked really good. I feel like I can be a big part of the team. I am ready to get in there and work. I have to thank my mom, family, friends, and all of my coaches who helped me. I want to go there for two years, get better, and then try to move up to a bigger school.”

Wheeler Head Coach Thomas Smith stated, “We are excited for Jeremiah. He has been a four year starter for us and did big things here. I think he is going to do a really good job for them. They are a newer program, and I think that he is going to have the chance to play for them right away. Their secondary coach really liked him. He has worked really hard both in and out of the classroom, and that really helped get him to this point.”
