TCHS Soccer Into Playoffs

The Toombs County High School soccer teams wrapped up the regular season last week with a pair of games against Bradwell Institute in Hinesville. The Lady Bulldogs picked up a win, but the boys fell to the Tigers.


The Lady Bulldogs ran away with the win as Anyadi Colmenares scored four goals in the game to go along with two assists. Emmerson Powell added two goals, and Mishi Smith found the net one time.

Toombs did give up three goals on the night, but came away with the win, 7-3.


The TCHS boys dropped their game to the Tigers. Bradwell scored twice in the first half of the game and then added a goal in the second half to take the win,

3- 0. This week both the girls and boys will take on Putnam County in the first round of the playoffs. The Lady Bulldogs are 11-7-1 on the year and will face the Lady War Eagles, who are 113-1. The TCHS boys are 11-7 on the year and will take on the 13-0-2 War Eagles in their matchup. They will play on Friday at Putnam starting at 5:00 p.m.
