Wheeler Falls To Wilcox

It was a slow week for the Bulldogs of Wheeler County High School as they only had one pair of games. On Tuesday of last week they hosted Wilcox County. Both the Wheeler boys and girls fell in their contests.

In the first quarter of the contest Wheeler kept it close. Wilcox was on top 15-12 when the buzzer sounded. In the second quarter Wilcox added to their lead and were up 30-23 heading to halftime.

In the second half of the game Wheeler kept pace with the Patriots, but Wilcox picked up the win, 54-46.

Wheeler was led by Nikita James with 24 points, and Mahogany King added 18 in the loss.

Boys vs. Wilcox The Wheeler boys kept it close with the Patriots, but in the end Wilcox came out on top. Wilcox got the win over Wheeler 54-49. The Lady Bulldogs are now 3-13 on the year while the boys are 3-12. They will be back in action on Friday of this week at home against Dooly County at 6:00 p.m. and then on Saturday Wheeler will host Hawkinsville at 4:00 p.m.
