Robert Toombs Christian Academy's Ag Club visited the Sunbelt Ag Expo in Moultrie, GA, on Wednesday, October 19. Several students participated in the Youth Educational Challenges, which tested students on their knowledge of various areas of agriculture ranging from ag mechanics to ag business. Students spent the day viewing exhibitor booths and learning about new agricultural equipment, services, and products. Students also were able to meet with college representatives from across the Southeast and learn about their agricultural programs and degrees. The RTCA Ag Club was formed this year to give students an opportunity to learn about local agriculture and develop skills of basic gardening and knowledge of plant and animal science. Ag Club sponsors are Carrie Anne Kennedy and Becky Pittman.
