RTCA Softball Drops 2

The Lady Crusaders softball team of Robert Toombs Christian Academy took on Pinewood on Tuesday, Bulloch Academy on Thursday and then Citizens Christian on Monday of this week. RTCA picked up their second win of the season on Tuesday on the road in Bellville. RTCA pulled out an 8 -7 win over the Lady Patriots. On Thursday RTCA fell, 4-1, to the Gators of Bulloch Academy.

Vs. CCA

Against Citizens on Monday of this week RTCA held the lead until the very end before CCA pulled ahead in the bottom of the seventh inning. RTCA picked up a run in the top of the first inning to take the early lead. They added two more in the third inning to lead 3-0. CCA bounced back with two runs in the bottom of the third inning to close the lead to 3-2.

RTCA added two more runs in the top of the sixth inning to extend the lead to 5-2. CCA plated two runs in the bottom of the frame to close it back to 5-4. RTCA added a run in the top of the seventh inning to lead 6-4, but in the bottom half CCA scored three runs to take the lead and the win, 7-6.
