Two Arrested in MoCo Drug Bust

SEIZED ITEMS — Law enforcement officials seized almost 31 grams of meth, drug paraphernalia, and a firearm from Kight and Glisson’s home in Uvalda.

Two Montgomery County citizens were arrested after the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office ( MCSO) and the Oconee Drug Task Force exe cuted a search warrant at the individuals’ home in Uvalda on Thursday, June 9.

Upon their entry into the house at 539 South First Street, law enforcement discovered 30.84 grams of methamphetamine, a firearm,

scales, and other drug

paraphernalia. Tyler Hugh Kight and Samantha J. Glisson were taken into custody following these discoveries, and currently remain in jail awaiting a bond hearing with a Superior Court Judge.

Kight is facing charges for trafficking in methamphetamine and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, while Glisson is charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and possession of a firearm during the commission of crime.
