Indians Named All Region

The GHSA AA State Champion Vidalia Indians baseball team dominated the Region 2AA All-Region Team, which was released Thursday. The Indians, who defeated Thomasville 7-0 in the 3rd and deciding game of the State Championship on Wednesday, placed nine players on the 1st team including Region Player of the Year, Bryson Whited (P/IF).

Those receiving First Team Honors included Caden Spivey (P), Hughes Graham (C), Ty Dalley (1B), Kaleb Bennett (DH), Cason Bank (OF), Jordan Walden (OF), and Bryce Davis (OF).

Bryce Morley (P) and Walker Moncus (3B) were named to the All-Region 2nd Team. The Vidalia Coaching Staff of Brent Korn, Rhett Carter, Ben Beck, Tucker Allmond, and Chris Dykes, received the Coaching Staff of the Year.
