VRD Swim Hosts Annual Meet
On Saturday, June 13, the Vidalia Swim Team hosted their annual VST Invitational at the Vidalia Aquatics Center.
This year there were 11 teams with around 190 swimmers participating.
Thanks to the help of many volunteers and community support, everything ran smoothly.
The Vidalia Swim Team performed very well, earning 3rd place as a team, as well as having a number of swimmers placing overall.
In the 8U age division, Caroline Braddy earned 2nd place for the girls while Brody White earned 4th place for the boys.
In the 11-12 boys division, Easton Moore earned
1st place. Autumn Moore earned 4th place in the girls 15-18 division. Overall, the team had a great showing with lots of personal best times. They will compete at their District Meet on Tuesday, June 30 in Vidalia.
