New Coach For MCHS

There will be a new football coach at Montgomery County High School next year and he was at MCHS on Saturday for a meet and greet with part of his staff. The new MCHS Football Coach and Athletic Director is Coach Don Vandygriff. He is currently the Associate Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator at (4A) Cedar Shoals. Previously he was the Associate Head Coach and DC at (3A) Crisp County, (7A) Lincoln High School-FL, (2A) Thomasville, (2A/3A) Dublin, and (4A) Lake Gibson. All of those are quality programs that he has coached. Coach Vandy has been a part of nine Region Championships and made the State Playoffs routinely throughout his career.
