Robert Toombs Christian Academy had two athletes selected for the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association All-State Baseletball Team this year.

Senior MK McBride and junior Jashaun Powell were two of the 12 players chosen for this team. The 12 players were selected from all classifications in the GISA, including A, AA, and AAA. McBride is a 4-year All-Region and 4-year All-State player, as well as a 3-time Player of the Year. After graduation he plans on going to college to continue his basketball career.

Powell is a 3-year All-Region and 3-year All-State player. He will be returning as a senior for the Crusader basketball program in hopes to lead them back to the State finals for a third year in a row.

Head Boys Basketball Coach Adam Callaway said, “This is a big accomplishment for these athletes to be on this team and they deserve it. This season they helped lead the Crusaders to a 23-2 record and came up a little short in the State Championship game getting State Runner- Up. I'm super proud of these guys though. They work extremely hard in everything they do, and there's no doubt they are two of the 12 best players in all of the GISA, and they've proved that for the last four years.”
