Hatcher Named To 2021-22 Barnes & Noble College Men’s Basketball Scholar-Athlete Team

The Southern States Athletic Conference has released the 2021-22 Barnes & Noble College Men’s Basketball Scholar- Athlete Team. Chance Hatcher was named as one of seven SSAC student-athletes that earned the honor. Earlier this season he earned SSAC All-Academic Honors. Hatcher is a junior biology major with a 3.45 GPA at the time of submission. He is a guard that averages 23.4 minutes per game while playing across 30 competitions for the Barons. Hatcher has averaged 7.4 points and 4.5 rebounds per game this season while shooting 45.7% from the field. To be eligible, student- athletes must be a sophomore or above in both academic and athletic standing, must be starters or important reserves, have at least a 3.3 cumulative GPA, and have competed in 50% of competitions. Graduate students are not eligible, and transfers must have completed one semester at the school.
