in the top of the second, but the Indians answered with a single run in the bottom half on another windaided double by Moncus putting the Indians up 3-1 after two innings.

Neither team scored in the third inning, but the WarHawks scored one in the fourth to make it a 3-2 ball game. In the bottom of the fifth, Cason Banks got a one-out single and then scored on a hit and run single by Jordan Walden.

Bryce Morley started on the mound for the Indians pitching five solid innings and went into the sixth with a 4-2 lead but got into trouble quickly as the first three WarHawk batters reached base with no outs. He was relieved by Conner Whited, who got the first batter to hit right back to him, getting the force out at home but an error on the throw to first allowed a run to score and put runners on 2nd and 3rd. After walking the next batter and hitting the next one forcing in the tying run, he was relieved by Bryson Whited, who came on to get a strikeout and pop-up, leaving the game tied at 4-4 going to the bottom of the sixth.

Bryson Whited led off with a single, which was followed by a double by Moncus putting men on 2nd and 3rd. Hughes Graham singled in one run, putting the Indians back on top 5-4. Ty Dalley followed with a 3-run bomb to right, jumping the lead up to 8-4. The wheels began to fall off for the War-Hawks as Spivey, Banks, Walden and Bennet walked and all scored as Whited singled, Moncus reached on an error and Graham completed the rally with a two-RBI single for the walk-off 14-4 win.

Bryson Whited picked up the win in relief and helped lead the offense with 3 hits, 3 runs and 1 RBI. Graham also had 3 hits, 2 runs and 3 RBI’s. Moncus contributed 2 hits, 2 runs and 2 RBI’s, Walden contributed 2 hits, 2 runs and 1 RBI while Dalley had a homerun, 1 run and 3 RBI’s. The Indians play their two final nonregion games this week. They had a rematch with the Pirates of Appling on Tuesday on the road after presstime. They will be back on the diamond on Thursday at Pierce County before starting Region play in Swainsboro on March 22.
