Toombs Splits With JD

The Toombs County High School soccer teams faced off with the Yellow Jackets of Jeff Davis last week. The Lady Bulldogs dropped their game, but the boys team defeated JD. In the girls game the Jackets scored four times in the first half of the game and added two more in the second half to win 6-0 over the Lady Bulldogs.

The TCHS boys were on top 3-1 at the end of the first half. They added two more goals in the second half to get the win 5-1.

Toombs had five different players score; Axcel Barbosa, Pablo Castanon, Julian Marin-Vital, Gustavo Delgado, and Tucker Brodnax. This week Toombs was at Swainsboro on Tuesday after presstime and will be back in action on Friday at Bacon County at 5:00 p.m.
