MCHS Swept By Wilcox

The Montgomery County High School baseball team took on Wilcox County in a three-game Region series last week, with Wilcox winning all three games. In Rochelle on Tuesday the Patriots of Wilcox jumped out to an early lead and took the win over MCHS 10-0. The two teams played a double header in Mt. Vernon on Friday. In the first game of the day Wilcox got the win 13-2 over the Eagles. In the second game the Patriots won 11– 0. MCHS is 2-3 on the year. This week they will play the Red Devils of Hawkinsville in a Region series. The first game was on Tuesday after presstime in Mt. Vernon. They will play a double header in Hawkinsville on Thursday with the first game at 4:00 p.m.
