TCHS Sweeps Claxton

The Toombs County High School soccer teams took on the Tigers of Claxton on Thursday of last week with both the boys and girls coming away with wins. The girls took and easy win as they defeated the Lady Tigers 6-0. Gisselle Delgado and Anyadi Colmenares led TCHS with two goals each, and Elida Cruz added a goal for the Lady Bulldogs. Claxton also added an own-goal to that total for TCHS. In the boys game Toombs came out on top 3-1. Jose Leon and Tucker Brodnax scored a goal apiece, and Gustavo Delgado added a goal on a penalty kick for the Bulldogs.

This week the Bulldogs took on Appling County at home on Tuesday after presstime and will be back in action on Thursday when they host the Warriors of Tattnall County. The girls will begin at 5:00 p.m. with the boys to follow.
