Braddock Signs With Hawks

At Treutlen County High School last Thursday, Makayla Braddock signed her letter of intent to play softball for the Hawks of South Georgia State College in Douglas. Makayla was a pitcher for the Vikings and will be taking her talents to the Hawks.

“I am really excited for this opportunity. I want to thank my family, coaches, and teammates for supporting me and helping me get to this point. I met some of the girls on the team and they made me feel at home. I want to major in Exercise Science and become a Physical Therapist. I can’t wait to get started.” Braddock said.

“Makayla is a great student athlete, she pushes her teammates, and she does what it takes to be successful. She will be a great asset to the team at South Georgia State.” Viking Head Coach Breanna Strickland said.
