vs. Treutlen Game 1

In the first game against the Lady Vikings neither team scored until the fourth inning, but in the bottom of the fourth, Toombs put five runs on the board to jump out to a big lead. Toombs added three more runs in the fifth inning as they took the win, 8-0.

TCHS was led by Casey Cantwell with 3 RBI's and Krista Cantwell added 2 RBI's. Krista Cantwell got the win in the circle.

Game 2

Toombs added one in the third and one in the fourth before plating four in the fifth to take the game, 9-1, over the Vikings. Aniston Powell and Alexa Ledford led TCHS with 2 RBI's each with Casey Cantwell getting the win in the circle.

vs. Bacon

This was a pitching and defensive dual that went to extra innings before a winner was decided. Krista Cantwell pitched for Toombs and didn't allow a single run over the first seven innings. Bacon and Toombs both had runners on base in the first inning and in the second inning. Both teams continued to put runners on base, but couldn't come up with the big hit when they needed it. That sent the game to extra innings. In the top of the eighth inning Bacon got something going as they plated three runs to take the first lead of the game. Toombs was held in the bottom of the eighth as Bacon took the win, 3-0. vs. E. Laurens Toombs came back with a big win over East Laurens on Wednesday. East Laurens was on top 2-1 after the first inning, but two runs by Toombs in the second put them on top 3-2. Then a big 10 runs in the top of the third inning broke the game open.

Toombs added a run in the fourth and three in the fifth, while holding the Falcons to just three more runs. That gave the Bulldogs the win, 17-5. vs. JD

Toombs was hanging with the Yellow Jackets over the first three innings as both teams had base runners, but couldn't put any runs on the board. In the top of the fourth inning JD finally broke out with a run on a fielder's choice. That gave them a 1-0 lead.

JD pushed the lead to 3-0 in the fifth inning, and then extended that to 5-0 in the sixth inning. Jeff Davis added a final run in the top of the seventh inning as they won over Toombs, 6-0.

vs. E. Laurens

Toombs bounced back with a 9-1 win over East Laurens on Monday of this week. TCHS took a 2-0 lead in the first inning, and extended it to 5-0 after the second. Both teams scored a run in the third inning, but Toombs added two more in the fourth and one in the fifth on the way to the 9-1 victory.
