Trippe Running Well
The J.R. Trippe cross country team continued to impress last Thursday at the Southern GA Championships in Hazlehurst.
The boys team placed 4th out of 14 teams putting three runners in the top 20. Cash Driggers keeps leading the way for the Chiefs with a 9th place finish, followed by Simon Collins in 16th and Larsen Carter 20th. For the second straight week nearly all of the runners were able to post personal best times.
“The growth of these kids and their drive to get better each day continues to be seen every time they hit the course. We are very excited entering into the last three weeks of the season to see our times steadily dropping,' said Head Coach Lee Humphrey.
The chiefs will be in action again October 2, in Milledgeville at the Braves Invitational.
