RTCA MS Now 4-0

Robert Toombs Christian Academy's Middle School football team competed against John Milledge Academy on Thursday, September 23. The Crusaders played hard all night, and the scoreboard showed it. The final score was 42-8, leaving the Crusaders with an undefeated record of 4-0.

'When the schedule was set early this summer, we had this game circled. We knew it was a big opportunity and a good measuring stick for our program to go against a big AAA school. Our 8th graders started the game with some great plays, which gave us control over the game and allowed every player to get playing time,' says Head Coach Jacob Wilkinson.

Leading the team against John Milledge were Cayden Nance: 3 TD/178 yards rushing, Justin Powell: 3 TD/148 yards/K.O return TD, Hayden Meeks: 6-6 on Extra Points, and Easton Drew: 8 tackles on the night.

The Crusaders will take on Bulloch Academy on this Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in Statesboro in hopes of going 5-0.
