Lady Vikings Drop Two

The Treutlen County High School Lady Vikings softball team played a double header at home against Johnson County last Thursday and fell in both games.

Game 1

Johnson took the lead in the top of the second inning with three runs, but Treutlen answered with three in the bottom of the frame to tie the game at 3-3. Johnson bounced back with two more in the third inning and then added four in the fourth to lead to game 9-3.

Johnson capped off the game with two in the fifth as they won the game 11-3.

Game 2

In the second game the Lady Trojans of Johnson ran away with a 12-0 win over the Vikings. Treutlen is now 2-11 on the year. On Monday of this week Treutlen was at Toombs County, and was at Montgomery County on Tuesday after presstime. They will play next at Dooly County on Thursday in Vienna at 5:00 p.m. They will close out their regular season next week with two more games.
