Heritage Track Runs At State

The Vidalia Heritage Academy Eagles track team competed recently at the State Meet and brought home several individual titles.

Jackson Williamson took 1st place in the long jump and the triple jump, and was 3rd in the 100m dash. Lauren Cook finished 1st in both the 100m hurdles, the long jump, and the 200m dash. And Lydia Sammons was 1st in the triple jump, and she was also 2nd in the 100m hurdles.

Ethan Sikes finished 2nd in the 300m hurdles and Mason Beacham was 2nd in the shot put. Emily Jarriel was 3rd in the shot put, and Julia Beacham was 6th in shot put. Hunter Campbell was 4th in the discus. And Rebecca Proenza was 6th in the 3,200m run.

The boys 4x400m relay team finished in 3rd place with the 4x100m team taking 4th. For the girls the 4x100m team was 4th and the 4x400m team came in 7th place.
