Lyons GDVS Office Operating on New Service Schedule
The Georgia Department of Veterans Service (GDVS) office in Lyons is operating on a new service schedule and is open to inperson visits on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Before visiting, veterans are asked to call or email to schedule an appointment. Contact office manager Debra O’Neal by phone at 912-526-8860 or via email at doneal@vs.state.ga.us.
The office offers support to veterans and families via email and phone service on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Veterans and families are encouraged to contact the office to ask questions, request information, and discuss claims for veteran benefits.
Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, in-person services are following new health and safety procedures for the well-being of our visitors and staff. Visitors are asked to wear a facemask when visiting one of our offices. They are encouraged to observe social distancing guidelines while in the waiting areas and speaking with field service officers. The GDVS is continuing to monitor and follow guidance from public health officials.
