Toombs Sweeps Bacon

The Toombs County High School Bulldogs basketball teams played just one opponent last week. TCHS hosted the Raiders of Bacon County on Saturday and came away with two big Region wins. The Lady Bulldogs started off the day with a runaway victory. The girls came out on top 51-37 over the Lady Raiders.

The boys were up next and they took a close win in a low scoring game. The Bulldogs scored just 41 points, but the defense did their job and they got the win, 41-38.

This week the Bulldogs hosted rival Vidalia on Tuesday after presstime. Toombs will host East Laurens on Friday at 6:00 p.m., and then the Tigers of Metter will be in Lyons on Saturday at 6:00 p.m.
