The Vidalia Heritage Academy archery teams competed in their first tournament of the season last week and had a good showing. The varsity took first place while the middle school came in second and the elementary school was third.

In the Varsity division Austin Wynns had the highest overall score for the entire tournament with a 287. Josey Harrell had the highest overall score for Varsity girls with a 274. Other top scores were from Owen Belcher, Jeffrey Mosley, Ryan Page, Alexandria Lee, Casen Jones, and Chess O’Neal.

In the middle school division Jake Adams had the highest score of the team with a 275 and Amber Auman followed that with a 254. Other top scores came from Reese Neal, Mallory Johnson, Teagan Carney, Sarah Grace Todd, and Lydia Horne.

In the Elementary division Ivy Mae Hightower had the highest score of the team with a 243 with Jonah Sikes and Ross Bowen following that with identical 224’s. Other top scores were from Alex Acosta and Emma Neal.
